Training Notice - 5/8/2024
The Hudson County Chiefs of Police Association will be hosting ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) who will provide training of what is legally required of an employer pertaining to military reservists and members of the National Guard. Topics to be covered are:
- Discuss the general provisions of USERRA;
- Summarize USERRA protections from discrimination and reprisal;
- Identify USERRA eligibility criteria;
- Describe employer affirmative defenses;
- Summarize re-employment rights and benefits of eligible uniformed service members.
